What if children showed us the way?

Before they became official art forms, singing and dancing were magical practices. And today, why do we sing? Why do we dance? There are a thousand and one answers.
La voix au chapitre gives children a say, through words, movement, and song. This song-and-dance production, developed in collaboration with the choir leaders of the Finoreille project, expresses our natural capacity for care and empathy. Inspired by the invocatory and universal dimension of Meredith Monk’s repertoire, we sing and dance to bring about change, to shape reality, and to become seekers of joy.
Directed by Mylène Benoit, this production brought together 300 children from the Finoreille workshops at the Lille Opera House.
